So turns out the wood on the explorer was REALLY thirsty. This is just one layer and it sucked an entire can of primer dry. Let’s hope the rest of the layers won’t need that much paint. Follow me to see the progress on my stories! - - - -

Adding a “gilmour mod” to my strat! Just need to finish the wiring and then I have the power to turn on the neck pickup whenever I want. That means I can engage both the bridge and neck pickup at the same time, which you normally cant. -

Well thats weird. The sound hole on my acoustic has sunk. The problem seemed to be that the wood was entirely dried out. Same as too much moisture, wood that is too dry can also cause problems. Last pic is me trying to fix it with a moisturiser bag i
